San Francisco!
Colleen and Lauren were in the amazing city on San Francisco a couple of weeks ago. The city was beautiful, and full of so much character.
We spent the first day exploring every corner, from Castro (above) to Full House (below), to Fisherman's Wharf, the old school Cable Cars and finishing up with a Blues show featuring Smokey Smothers and Elvin Bishop.
On our second day we rented a car and headed up the Pacific Coast Highway...stopping for an action photo shoot.
Although we didn't see any of the redwoods that are so huge you drive through them, we did drive along some pretty great twisty turny roads with cool scenery.
We arrived in Napa late with no time for wine tasting...well at the wineries that is. We had a fantastic dinner and were able to take our wine back to our room at the guest house, where we were staying right above the the bar with live music, which of course lead to dancing and a deep sleep.
Sunday morning we decided, being in Napa and all, we had to hit up at least one tasting! So we went to the Robert Mondavi winery and tried a few different wines
Above is one of the many wineries along the long strip of them in Napa.
When we arrived back in San Fran, we headed to the Golden Gate Park looking for the Earth Day celebration...instead we found Eddie Money and his daughter singing a tired concert to a group of about 40....very strange....but at least the view of the bridge was spectacular.
